Fresh, thawed, or frozen breastmilk all works for my process. That being said, if the milk is frozen, I would suggest letting it thaw before packaging it to reduce condensation in the mailer. Please triple bag your breastmilk, shipping milk in breastmilk storage bags is important. Brand new, sealed storage bags are sterile, preventing bacteria growth. Bottles and Ziploc bags are not sterile and can produce mold. Please push all air out of the bag containing the milk. Please use a waterproof padded envelope. We are also more than happy to memorialize your baby's formula as well! Please send a teaspoon of the dry , powdered formula, double bagged. Please label the breastmilk or include in or on the package the name on the order, the order number, phone number, email address, and an accurate return address as well as any additional details you would be willing to share. Without these pieces of information, it may be difficult to match the breastmilk you send in with your order file.
