Poppies are known to represent restful sleep, remembrance, dreams, and imagination. A tradition started in placing poppies on the graves of soldiers who have passed in previous world wars, and these flowers are commonly associated with the sentiment that our loved ones should rest in peace. Keep your loved one close by eternalizing their memory within the compelling petals of the poppy flower.

Each painting is hand painted by me to order, using the ashes of your loved one or pet. I start by tracing the outline of your chosen flower onto the 9” by 12” canvas paper, and begin by mixing a small amount of your loved ones ashes with each color of paint. Your loved ones' ashes will be present in every aspect of the painting, although not visible. The painting is then finished with a protective varnish, to seal the ashes and the painting. Every painting will be slightly different, with variations in color and texture.
