CBM-58
You and your loved one are two sides of the same coin, celebrate that duality in this double-sided 14k white gold memorial pendant. This piece features a unique orientation that allows one or more set of ashes to be set into each side so they are hugging the metal portion in the center. Our hope is that you will feel held in the same way while wearing this piece, surrounded by the love of your dearest ones.
Dimensions:
8 x 4mm
All dimensions are approximate and may vary slightly with every casting.
The bilateral pendant is solid 14k white gold, but comes with a rhodium-plated sterling silver chain that can be clasped at either 16" or 18". Information about matching solid 14k gold chains is available by request as well.
This pendant can be engraved with up to 3 characters across or 4 characters vertically on either side. (Note that spaces and simple symbols count towards the character count.) Examples of the font options available for engraving can be seen here. If you have any engraving-related questions, please submit your inquiry in the contact form below or send us an email.
Please Note: This pendant can be made with multiple sets of ashes, which can all produce differently colored settings. However, we cannot guarantee that multiple sets of ashes will produce drastically different-colored settings. No color is added to the ashes during the setting process to create a specific color or hue. If this pendant is made with only one set of ashes, the same color will be produced across both of the settings. Our multi-setting collection lists all of the pieces that can accommodate separately set ashes.
We carry a unique pair of earrings that matches the design of this piece in both sterling silver and 14k yellow gold.
Each piece is set in our office, located in Southern California. Only a very small amount of ashes is used in the setting process. The exact amount needed depends on the size and depth of the piece's setting, but for simplicity's sake, we ask that a teaspoon of ashes be sent. Within 1 business day of placing your order, you will receive a detailed order confirmation with information and instructions relevant to your unique order. Can I put the ashes in myself or have my local funeral home do it?
Our cremation jewelry is crafted using a patented process that solidifies the ashes and bonds them directly to the metal. Because of this unique method, our pieces must be completed in our studio and cannot be done at home or by a funeral home. This ensures your memorial jewelry is durable, long-lasting, and made exactly as intended.
Is the cremation pendant solid 14k white gold?
Yes! The cremation pendant itself (not including the chain) is solid 14k white gold and finished with rhodium plating.
White gold naturally has a warm champagne hue, so rhodium plating is applied to give it a bright white finish, along with added durability and hypoallergenic properties. Because of this additional step, our 14k white gold pieces are slightly higher in price than yellow and rose gold versions.
Can I purchase this without the chain?
All of our 14k white gold pendants come with a complimentary 16–18" adjustable rhodium-plated sterling silver chain. If you prefer not to receive the chain, we’re happy to leave it out upon request; however, the price will remain the same, as it is included at no additional cost.
Is it okay to wear my cremation jewelry in the shower, pool, or ocean?
We do not recommend wearing your cremation jewelry in the pool or ocean, as chlorine and saltwater can be damaging to the ashes setting and metal.
You may wear your piece in the shower, but keep in mind the minerals and chemicals present in many skincare products can discolor or mattify the ashes setting. While it's best to remove your cremation jewelry before showering, if you do choose to leave it on, we recommend rinsing it thoroughly and drying it afterward to prevent any residue buildup.
All of our cremation jewelry comes with a lifetime warranty for the ashes setting. If the setting ever becomes dull, discolored, or damaged, you can send it back to us to be restored or redone. There is no fee for this service; we only ask that you cover the shipping costs.
Can I wear my cremation jewelry every day?
Yes, absolutely! Our cremation jewelry is created to be worn as often as you’d like — whether that's every day, on special occasions, or anything in between.
That said, it is still fine jewelry, so a bit of mindful care will help preserve its beauty over time. We recommend removing your piece before activities that may involve physical impact or contact with chemicals, such as exercising, swimming, gardening, or cleaning. This helps protect both the metal and the ashes setting.

Will the color of the ashes setting match the one pictured?
Ashes are like fingerprints: entirely unique to your loved one. No color is added to the ashes during the setting process, so the finished jewelry will reflect their natural hue, which may differ from those photographed.
Can I send something other than or in addition to ashes, such as hair, breastmilk, or another sentimental material?
Yes! We are happy to accept a variety of other materials, including but not limited to: hair/fur, sand, soil, powdered breastmilk, dried flower petals, fabric, crushed gemstones, and more. Please reach out to discuss your unique memorial setting.

Forever grateful
I got this bilateral pendant because I, unfortunately, lost both of my boys only months apart from each other. I was very hesitant because these are my boy's ashes and I couldn't just trust them to anyone. After much research, I was fortunate enough to find Gina and her company. I had so many questions and I have to say, Gina answered every single one of them in such detail and so patiently. She showed compassion towards all my concerns and made this process a lot easier than I thought it would be. She gave me the security I needed to feel in order to temporarily let go of part of my pups. I had also expressed to her that I would love to have them BOTH in one stone, which is why she recommended the bilateral pendant, and I am SO HAPPY she did because I absolutely love it. It is so beautiful and it is something that I will treasure forever. Thank you so much Gina and Team!
